To start my research for my 3 chosen artists I looked at different websites that advertised new artists or songs. From this I researched each artist's genre and released songs. This helped me decide what genre I liked and disliked, along with thinking how I could create a Music Video for that song.
After doing my online research I still wasn't fulfilled with the artists I had found. I then used YouTube to search for more new artists and in the end decided on these artists listed below.

4. Tom Grennan
5. Shura
From this list of artists, I have narrowed them down to these 3 songs as I can vision a scene or image for each of them.
1. Liv Dawson
Biography: Liv is an 18 year old UK artist from the suburban town of Shepperton. Since the age of 14 she has been UKs most promising and up coming artist. She has many live tours and has released a number of singles which are available to listen or download on YouTube, Amazon, iTunes and Soundcloud. She also released an EP in 2016 called 'Open Your Eyes'.

Biography: Mahalia is a UK singer / songwriter from Leicester. She has done tours around the UK for her releases and mainly focuses on her latest album release for her tours. Mahalia's releases and albums can be purchased or listened to via YouTube, Amazon, iTunes and many more.

Why: I enjoy her style of the song and also like the thought of editing an acoustic song as it gives a good theme and the video wouldn't need so much footage due to its calm genre.
3. Tom Grennan
Genre: Indie / Rock
Biography: Tom Grennan is a London-based singer / song-writer. He was first noticed when he was
a guest vocalist in Chase & Status' track 'When It All Goes Wrong'. His solo career consists of just vocals and playing the guitar. He has released three EPs which are all available on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, YouTube, Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal, Google Play and more.

Why: I feel Tom would be a really good artist to create a music video from as his song has lots of energy and I could also think of a simple storyline that could be used both from the song and in the music video.
I think that these are all good potential choices Becca - well done. Do you have a feeling for who you will choose as your artist? The genres are all slightly different but I could see any of them working.
