MV Planning: Location Planning

In terms of filming locations for my music video, the storyline includes 7 different locations. It starts off with the male lead waiting outside his car, which then leads onto him taking the girl out to different places/events. These locations appear throughout the music video in no particular order due to them being different events all coming into one video.

The first location is the New York Thunderbowl. Taking place her ill be when the couple go bowling and also, I would like to take some shots of them hanging out outside of the building. This could be where the music video starts due to the male waiting outside for the girl to arrive. I would also like to capture them here at night due to there being neon lights which could be featured in the video. Furthermore, this is where the arcade scene will also take place. The game of pool scene could also take place however, I also have another location planned for this.

 

The next location will be Spot On. This is a where the pool scenes will take place. I felt this location suited this best due to it always being busy, having these natural surroundings will help the video look more natural and also help the actors fee more comfortable and concentrating on the place rather than the camera.

The next location will be based in a restaurant/local pub. A pub would be a good location for the video as it brings a good atmosphere to the music video due to it again being a natural calm location. Again the actors will be laid back and comfortable as they will blend in with the background.

For the walk scene, the location will be a field/forest. This location will be say to find and film in due to it being so quiet and large.

For the bedroom scene I will either use one of the actor's room or a room in my own home. This will be the same for the party scene.
